Despite my willingness to turn into the wilderness,

You, O God, jealously pursue me out of the darkness.

Why, O God, do You save me?

You have called me from THE beginning;

Before MY beginning You called me Yours.

Why, O God, do you save me?

You placed in my heart the knowledge of God,

Then You placed in my spirit, Your Spirit.

You, O God, You have saved me!

You have named me among the remnant that is forever kept;

You have placed me into the hand of the Redeemer, never to be taken away.

You, O God, You have saved me!
